.: Q-Squared Programs

Q-Squared offers a variety of ways that you can become involved in your community through it's programs. You can become involved in your community by participating or volunteering at any of our events. Don't see something you think we should be doing? It's your community! Consider creating your own program with our handy program development form!

CAMP

Our biggest success now in it's 13th year. CAMP is held at a private retreat center nestled amongst towering trees with scenic trails and rivers. Stay in heated modern cabins or pitch your own tent. Meals prepared by the staff are enjoy family style. CAMP is an alcohol, drug and attitude free event. Click here to go the CAMP Web site.

TakeOut

TakeOut is a great example of Q-Squared's volunteer based programming. We didn't create TakeOut, but several members of the community really wanted to do this. They submitted an application, Q-Squared reviewed it, and we are lending our volunteer resources to make it happen. Local chefs cooked up some of Seattle's best cuisine. We shared some great food, great company and came together as a community.

Book Club

Book reading group meets most Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. at Cal Anderson House, 400 Broadway. The first book for discussion was The Velvet Rage. On Saturday, January 6, the group began the new year with Amastead Maupin's The Night Listener. Click here to sign up for the mailing list to be notified when the next group will meet.

Dating Discussion Group

This discussion group is designed to help you navigate the challenge of dating and relationships. The workshop consists of group discussions led by a moderator in an affirming environment where men of any age are welcome to share their dating and relationship experiences. Questions and conversations around relationships, sex, and dating are all welcome. Whether you're single and looking or in a long term committed relationship or in a relationship and looking to instill new life into it, there are plenty of things to learn from each other via the discussion group. The discussion group takes place weekly, but is designed so that you can drop in for just one, or participate in each.

Forums

To initiate participation by the general community Q-Squared hosts a series of public forums. Held approximately twice each year, Forums usually address hot topics in the gay community.
